Gregory St. Juste immigrated to Boston from Haiti and found a strong local Haitian community but few outlets for Haitian music. Inspired to share his culture, he founded Start One Music Group, an international label representing artists from the African American community. "We have the Haitian audience here already—I wanted to bring more of that zouk sound to Boston," he explains.

Through Start One, Gregory mentors emerging talent like rapper MJ and vocalist King Frantz—whom he calls a "Haitian Usher" for his style and smooth vocals. Frantz’s songs blend Caribbean rhythms with modern instruments and electronic influences; tracks like "Take It All" mix saxophone, guitar and compas-inspired beats for a danceable yet laid‑back feel. Gregory’s mission is to elevate Haitian and Caribbean music and give artists in the diaspora a platform to shine.
